I recently purchased this TV stand, the quality and look of the piece was excellent, the problem I had was with the fact that it only comes with one center shelf. this may not seem like a big deal at first and didn't to me, except most components, meaning, dvd player, dish box, surround sound, etc. are all of a thin design. I inquired about purchasing an additional shelf, but was denied this oppurtunity. So basically the stand is nice but falls short of being able to use the space provided effiencently. If I had noticed the fact that even in their sales picture they show the components from the 80's I probably would have passed on the sale. Components these days are to thin to put on the bottom shelf and still be remote accesible.

The bracket itself seems fine...solid construction and smooth movements.
My only complaint would be that the molly bolts they inclded for mounting the bracket were of inferior quality.

Excellent value and a snap to put together-took about 30 minutes.
Elegant looking and a little lighter color than pictured, which goes perfectly with the adjoining book shelves.
"Cabling System" is a bit of a misnomer-it is a bunch of holes and ventilation cut into the shelves.
Expected damage, since it was so heavy, but only had a bent handle screw, that I spent $1 on in the hardware store rather than get something shipped out again.
My wife loves it and I would order from this company- Bell'o -again.
Would not order for a flat panel greater than 43"-which is what we have,

Everything the company did for this order is first rate.

Very nice workmanship on the item and was packaged so well I doubt anything could have ever gotten broken.

My problem is the METAL swivel on the bottom of the whole unit, not just the top platform you have the TV on. This is a problem for 2 reasons; one is that you can not anchor down the unit and the second is the swivel unit on the bottom is going to scratch a lot of different surfaces.

Had to take the swivel off and use without which is a bummer to say the least.
