I had been considering purchase of this piece for several months and had been monitoring pricing on Amazon and two other sites. One of my hesitations was the fact that there were NO reviews on any site.

I finally pulled the trigger and I'm basically happy that I purchased it... it is a beautiful piece. It is taller than the average TV stand (which is what I wanted) and the corner configuration reduces the footprint nicely.

The assembly of this product was intimidating but the instructions were clear and concise. I had no trouble assembling though I had a friend helping me which is crucial due to the heavy weight of the product. Once assembled, I was thrilled. Very attractive piece and the finish is perfect. Unfortunately, that is not where the story ends. My friend left and I needed to take down the old set up, push the new stand into place and re-assemble the entertainment complex... simple, right? Well, when I went to move the St Croix stand 4 feet into position, the back legs collapsed! Not one of them... BOTH of them.

Granted, I was sliding it across carpeting but for such a short distance, I expected no problem. Upon examination, it is clear that the manufactured wood the legs screwed into had disintegrated. The legs came out - receiving anchor and all. Since it is the back legs and will not be visible... AND the piece slides into a corner, I put it in place without the legs, using the walls to rest against and some old magazines to level it. Not optimal, but I had just spent 90+ minutes assembling and I was NOT going to disassemble to return it. BOTTOM LINE: I would recommend this piece but I would put two pieces of smooth cardboard under the back legs to facilitate sliding the piece into position.

AGAIN - Beautiful once assembled... assembly is fairly easy (with 2+ people recommended) and I'm basically happy now that it's done and in position.

When purchasing a wall mount there are several basic considerations. The first is the weight of your display versus the weight limit of the mount. Monoprice Low Profile HDTV Wall Mount Bracket (max 143 lbs, 32~63", VESA 300x100~800x400) Review

I would have given this braket 5 stars but the way it was designed and where my studs were located, I could only put the TV at the brackets highest slot. In order for you to slide the TV side to side slightly you would have to make sure that one you put it in the highest notch on the brackets that attach to your TV, reason is the bolt heads that attach the mounting bracket to the wall, stick out. I had a VESA 400 X 400 configuration and this prevented me from setting the TV on the lowest or middle slot because one of the brackets would not slide or pop in correctly due to the interference the bolt head caused. the other design fault I did not like is the fact the security bar has the ability to be padlocked, but the hole and diameter of the bar are so thin. I would have to put a suitcase padlock in order to secure this. I set my Samsung Plasma on this at the highest setting and it looked good. Wish I could have set it in the middle setting but it still did the job.

This is exactly what we wanted, we have seen this TV stand in multiple stores but it had the flat screen attachment that we didn't want. Found our TV stand here on amazon without the attachment awesome buy. However the price is a bit higher then you will find at other stores for the same TV stand but we had a giftcard to amazon and it end up being cheaper to purchase the more expensive stand here. Either way my husband and I love this piece its prefect! Arrived on time and the set up is so easy I believe my husband had it together in a hour or so! It's so elegant! This cabinet arrived in good shape and was undamaged upon delivery. Very sturdy, clean, and well designed. Very easy to assemble... the main frame folds open, pop in the top and the shelves. Done.
