This is a well designed and well made unit for the price. After I finally got it together, it looks great. I had a problem with getting the top attached, but was able to solve it. The unit is fastened together with a system of screw-in posts and locking cams. The instructions don't tell you, but if you make the mistake of screwing the posts in too deeply, the locking cam can't get a grip on the end of the post. Also, the cams have to be rotated to the correct position and then the top has to be pressed down tightly on the cabinet for the posts and cams to mate up with each other. After wrestling with it for an hour, I backed out the pins so that they were screwed in just to the depth of the available threads. I then did a trial fit with all the locking cams using an extra post (they include extra parts) and then had my wife sit on the top (they omitted this step) while I rotated the cam locks and it all came together. Assembly took me about 2 hours, but I could probably do it again in 45 minutes.

My only complaints are (1) the assembly instructions on the cam locks and posts are not clear and (2) The finish is a bit thin and scratches easily.
