I just installed this product and here are my observations:
1) The kit is made in the USA!
2) The cables could have been just a little bit longer, especially since they can be shortened by tying knots in them. (my install was ok).
3) I had to bend the cable eye hooks (at the TV end) more than 45 degrees because the mounting holes on my TV were recessed more than half an inch.
4) I reused the screws that were already in my TV (for wall mounting) as the included screws were the wrong size for my unit.

I believe most flat screen TV's these days have the necessary screws pre-installed, although some are only available if you remove your TV stand (i.e. my bedroom TV), and if that's the case you'll have to purchase screws if the kit does not include your size. I'm pretty handy with tools so other than some simple modifications my install was straight forward. Just remember that the part that attaches to the wall needs to be screwed into wall studs and with the limited length cables you may need to have your TV very close to the wall in order to reach the studs. I would recommend this product to a friend as long as the price is right. I found the same thing at another website and their price was 4 times as much as on Amazon so shop around. My TV is a 52" and sits atop my old entertainment center. I live in earthquake country and prior to this install, my TV would have toppled over pretty easily. Safety is no accident!
