Really strong mount. I was a little worried about putting it in the studs on a dry wall but i found out 2 studs can hold over a 100lbs so the mout weighted about 20 to 25lbs and my tv im guessing 50lbs (42inch) its held fine since then and it gets swiveled out regularly from watching tv in bed to working out on the kinect out to the side of the bed

Premier Mounts AM2 Swing-Out Arms For 17-Inch to 40-Inch LCD Screens (Silver) Review

I bought this for my new 20" LCD and I am very pleased. I was looking at the Omni Mount, which is about the same price. There were a couple of bad reviews for that one so I tried this one. I am glad I did. I am sure that is a good product, but this has a much better design. Unless the wall stud you are mounting the mount in is exactly in the middle of the spot you intend to mount the TV, you won't be happy with a cantilever type mount, pushed back flush against the wall, the cantilever mount will always rest the TV exactly where the stud is. This product allows much greater flexibility. The TV can be "offset" from the mounting base on either side so that you can center it on the wall when flush. It also does not have the "drooping" issue the reviews for the cantilever mount mentioned. The mount is very well made, I think it weighs more than the TV, and is attractive. If you want, you can even hide the wires in the tubes of the mount. My only complaint, mine didn't come with the mounting screws, but for less than $1.00 I bought them at Home Depot. I am very pleased and strongly recommend that you consider this mount for your TV.

Mount World 1107 Universal Super Flush Wall Mount for 18" to 42" LCD LED Plasma VESA 400x400, 200x200, 100x100 (1" from wall and Compatible with OmniMount OMF Mounting System) Review

Purchased this as it was a few dollars cheaper than the Omnimount OMF I was eyeing. I have a 42" VESA 200 TV that only weighs 20 pounds, and I liked the idea of not having to worry about finding a stud.

The product comes with the four mounts and harnesses, hardware and drill bit for the drywall anchors. It also comes with a "spacing guide" for your correct VESA pattern--unfortunately, the "guide" is a folded piece of flimsy cardboard that is certainly not foolproof. While I lined everything up with the guide and used the levelers (which are on the individual harnesses so not all that helpful) when I went to mount the TV one of the mounts is off enough that the mount does not seat properly. The TV is still on the wall currently (I think--I'm at work now) but I will be watching it to see if the offset is enough to begin drawing out the drywall anchor.

All in all, I wish I had spent the extra few bucks on an Omnimount as the VESA pattern and leveling system seem a bit more thought out.

Chief KWB110B Articulating Wall Mount for 10" to 30" Displays (Black) Review

This unit is a little clunky looking, but I installed it on a wall in my kitchen to hold a 24" television. The good news: the arm could be just about perfect for its intended use. The TV can be seen from all angles in our (fairly) large kitchen and even in the dining room (because the mount allows such a large swivel range). The bad news: the mount has trouble staying stable on the wall. It is not overloaded with weight from the TV (according to its design specs), yet the base "slides" around a little on the wall when I move the TV on the articulating arm.

Despite this, my contractors claim the wall mount is well made and easy to install (in comparison with others). We had the benefit of building studs into the wall to hold the unit in exactly the desired position. I did this aspect of the install with my general contractor before we put sheet rock over the studs, and it was fairly straightforward. We hung the TV on the mount and then positioned it on the wall. I hung the TV (on the mount) in advance of the arm install because the arm "sags" (due to the weight of the device) so it is better to determine the mount position with the full weight of the unit on the mounting device.

4 stars because we really like the functionality the arm provides. The only way to get the fifth star would be to eliminate my mounting stability problem.

I bought this TV mount arm on the recommendation of a friend that's in the industry. I use it with a Samsung 40" Smart TV "Thin". Wow, it's truly awesome. Tilts, moves up and down 20", left and right, in and out from wall etc. all with 1 finger worth of force. My techie friends are jealous.

I have only have two gripes,both surrounding install. One, the TV can't be mounted with one person, as the four bolts into the back of the TV have to be screwed in AFTER the mount arm is installed on the wall. A buddy of mine had to hold the 22 lb TV during this process. Two, the install instructions don't tell you that you need to install the arm to the LEFT of where you want the TV to reside in "resting" position closest to the wall. About 12" will do it.

Again, great great end product, but install trickier than it needs to be considering it's a simple 2 bolts into the wall.
