Entertainment Center Wall System - Cinnamon Cherry Finish Review

Like a previous reviewer said it is very time consuming with all the pieces and yes it's not as heavy as 300 lbs, but it's still quite heavy. It is laminate and it is very dark. If you're looking for something like this in black, it's not very far off. It's customizable with other pieces I found and it's very easy to move once set up. I wish the hole in the back was larger but that can be worked with. With help, I had no problem setting it up, it just requires time and a couple of screwdrivers. And by the way, if you can't lift 120 lbs by yourself, get it delivered. Don't pick it up at the local fed ex. I had to drag it up stairs with another person. I could easily see someone without that help being left with no way to move it. For what it is, it looks good and it has a mount on the back to anchor it to the wall if you need to. It has a very nice, modern look to it.

Innovative Office Products 7Flex 24-Inch LCD Monitor Mount Review

I don't normally write reviews, but when I saw the negative review of this item, I wanted to comment. The bottom line: The mount works great. I have four of them, and I'm buying a fifth. The mount can attach to the back of your desk, through a hole in the desktop or to a wall. The mount can rotate your monitor to either portait or landscape or in between, but you'll have to loosen set screws to make it easy to rotate.

One small negative: The instructions are not very clear, so be sure to call tech support if you have trouble. They answered quickly, were very helpful and got me squared away in short order.

When installing your unit, attach the VESA mount to the back of your monitor, then secure the mount to your desk or wall. Once you've done that, place on the monitor on the end of the arm. The included hex wrench is the tool you use to precisely balance the weight of the monitor. For my 8-pound monitor, it turn about 10 turns with the wrench. Once you've set the balance correctly, you can move the monitor up, down or sideways, then let go of it and it will stay where you left it.

The 7-Flex can handle most monitors with either 75mm or 100mm VESA mounting holes and with a net weight 4-14.5 pounds.

The not-so-great instructions aside, this is an excellent product and I recommend it.

It has now been about five months since we bought our first unit, and we now have ten of them. We work in a TV Broadcast facility and use the mounts to support 22-24" LCD monitors. Some of our monitors are mounted to consoles using a hole through the top and others use the wall mount option to fasten the unit to the front of equipment racks. The 7-Flex works great in either arrangement. Still highly recommended.

Innovative Office, the makers of the 7-flex, has posted a full demo on YouTube. It's a good demo, too. Check it out.

[Edit March 22nd, 2012. It's been about 2-1/2 years since I posted the original review and we now have about 20 of these mounts. Check the image I posted showing five of them mounted to console in our TV master control room. The 7-flex units have worked just great and we've never had a problem with them.

Bell'O TPC361 AV System Up To 55-Inch or 125 lbs (Dark Cherry) Review

I normally don't write reviews that often but I am very excited about this TV stand I had to share (since there are no other reviews). We have hardwood floors throughout our house, and before getting this stand we had some silver colored cheap stand from IKEA. It certainly lasted long enough, but my wife and I are trying to slowly move out of the college dorm room look... This stand offers a perfect transition from the hardwood floors up to the modern design of the flat panel TV.

This is definitely a very high quality item and at a very reasonable price. My only complaint at first was the cost of shipping. But once I received the shipment I realized why as it weighs around 200 lbs. The wood is dense and seems like it can withstand some abuse over the years, and has a nice mahogany finish. The glass shelves are thick and I didn't have any hesitation putting somewhat heavy A/V equipment on it. The metal frame is solid and you can probably land a helicopter on it.

As far as space goes there is plenty. I was able to comfortably fit: A 5 disk DVD/Stereo receiver, An old VCR (never know, might come in handy someday :), and Xbox 360, a standard size comcast cable receiver, a PS3, and a Wii... And there is still plenty of space in between them so it does not look cluttered. The two drawers at the bottom are large and offer a ton of room for game controllers for all three systems, chargers, remotes, and some other random stuff, with room left over.

What ended up being a selling point for me originally is the 3-in-1 mounting option. My original plan was to mount the TV to the provided post (as pictured) then use the included wall mount later on once we get the walls painted. But once I set the TV up on the post I really loved the way it looked. All of the A/V cables can be fed through the center of the post so they are hidden. Now, the only cables you can see in the back are the power cables.

One other reason I think I might just stick to the post mount is because of the pivot mount... The mount works great on the post and allows the TV to pivot left and right. However, I feel like if it was mounted to the wall it might look a little awkward because it would be sicking out far from the wall do to the space needed for the pivot. So if you are wanted to get that picture frame look that is flush against the wall you should probably look into getting a separate wall mount.

Hard to assemble, logos on the top so if you use it for projector up high you will see it backwords. Overpriced. Screws are so huge that you need 5/16 drill bit. There is 6 of them so it can hold grown man weight but when assembled still fills shaky and can hold just 15 pounds. Took me 30 min just to drill and screw them in. Only worth if you really need white color. Parts on the sides that make this striped look are removable and not look even better without.

4D Concepts Audio Entertainment Stand, Cherry Review

I read a few reviews about the condition of the packaging and assumed it was a one-off issue with the carrier. My box was in absolutely terrible condition, the instructions had fallen out and a few of the pieces had scratches.

With that said, the price was good, and I didn't have the patience to return a 150# box so I took the items to the theater and installed. The piece looks nice, is very sturdy and large enough for all of my AV equipment. I would rate the equipment a 4 but the shipper is a 2 at best but with no response to my e-mail, they get a 1.

If you don't mind getting a tattered box and are OK putting the piece together based on just a picture, I would actually recommend this.
