I consider this a deal!!! not knowing ANYTHING about hanging a big "46") flat screen i was a tad uncertain about this mostly because all the local stores carry this type hanger for over $150.00 and here it is for this low price. I thought it might be cheaply made out of light weight steel but hey... when UPS dropped it off I was surprised at how heavy it is. the steel used is really strong and when you think of it.. id say the weak link is the screws and bolts... and they are PLENTY strong enough to hold an 80 lbs TV.the only real advise I can give is, try to mount this into as many wall studs as you can get and be sure you go into the center of each stud with the bolts (lags) if not there could be a chance of it falling off the wall... id suggest also where there are no studs.. use some toggle bolts for extra help in holding the TV up but DO NOT use ONLY toggle bolts.. lol out TV is hanging over a sofa so hopefully if it ever did fall the couch will break its fall and if we're lucky enough, there will be someone sitting there to further break the fall... maybe one of my knuckle head friends... hey, it could actually knock some sense into them ;)
