I bought this mount due to very limiting space in my bedroom to mount a tv. I needed one with a lot of movement, and the ability to pull far from the wall, this way it could be mounted in a corner. This did the job perfectly. The mount had plenty of holes for the mounting bolts, which helped out with the studs on that section of my wall not being standard distance apart.

PROS:

*Plenty of movement, and ease of movement
*Backplate has a variety of mounting holes (ease of mounting)

CONS:
*Terrible instructions
*Bit of work to install

The instructions were absolutely terrible for this thing. They were not needed for me, but I can see where it would be a problem for many other people. Its a bit unwieldy securing it, so if you are weak, don't install it alone. The tools you will need are: Drill and bits (pilot holes into the studs), nut driver or rachet, level, stud sensor, and screwdrivers.

All in all, an excellent product. Took me about 30 minutes from receiving the box to mounting it on the wall, but expect it to take upwards of an hour and a half. It holds up my 46" with ease, and allows me to swivel the TV easily.

Peerless SUF661 Ultra Slim Flat Wall Mount for 37"-65" TVs (Black) Review

This is the second Peerless flush mount I've used. The first flush mount worked perfectly with a 50" Plasma TV.

Unfortunately for the Peerless SUF661, the supplied M8-1.25 25mm Flat Head Hex Screws are to short, which means the screws (which are mounted on the rear of the TV) are not long enough to reach (connect) to the Peerless mounting bracket. I'm mounting a Samsung 60" LED TV, which is 1.8" thick; model UN60ES6003.

I've tried to find a flat head 35mm hex screw at our local hardware store, but all are tapered so they will not match up with the mounting bracket. Not sure Peerless considered that some TV's are not perfectly flat on the back. The Samsung UN60ES6003 has speakers at the bottom rear, which add about 1/2".

I called Peerless customer service, and the representative stated that I should go to a hardware store to find the correct flat head hex screw. Not sure why only 2 sizes were supplied; 12mm & 25mm. Looks like a 35mm screw would work; now if I could only find where to buy it.

Very disappointed with the Peerless experience. :(

Belkin HDMI to DVI-D Cable 8 feet Cord Review

I purchased this cable to hook my Dell XPS m1710 to my Mitsubishi 720p projector. The first cable i got was showing a red distorted picture on my projector and no picture at all on my samsung lcd panel.

I went to exange the cable and got one wich was working but there were no blue color on the screen. So i went to get my money back but they insist on trying a third cable, testing it on their own laptop and screen in the store. I was working goog this time.

I may have bough 2 cable that had problem in the manufacturing process, maybe the only 2 bad cable in the line but it was very frustrating.

I agreed with the reviewer complaining about the package. There is an easy pull tab on the rear of the package, but it only give you acces to the middle of the cable, the connector are stuck in the front of the packaging, so you have to use a combination of knife, scissor and patience to pull it out, very frustrating after the 3rd time.

No more belkin cables for me, never again.
