OSD Audio FM-344 LCD Super Slim Fixed Series TV Mount for 32 to 42-Inch TV (Black) Review

Bought this for an LG 60LM7200 slim LED TV. The included spacers were perfect to get the brackets in line with the rear protrusions for the speakers. It is, as others have noted, incredibly slim, so that you may not be able to access the rear of the TV and certainly won't be able to plug anything in that sticks directly out toward the back, but all of my plugs are side-facing, and with the spacers, there's just enough room for me to work without unmounting the TV. This seems hands down superior to the Rosewill RHTB-11007.

One thought: if you're mounting in a brick wall, you might want to save yourself some annoyance and run to the hardware store for a set of 1/4"x2" lag bolts and long 1/4" lag shields of your own. The included plastic anchors are probably fine for many surfaces, but they deform easily and are fairly symmetrical, so that two of the six started spinning loose in the hole in the mortar while I tried to drive the bolt in. I was able to get around this by wrapping them in a little bit of paper towel to get enough resistance so I could drive the bolt and expand the anchor, but I eventually just bought $5 worth of parts that were designed for masonry and did it right. Any one of them could probably hold the TV up by itself, and this thing will still be on the wall after Ragnarok.

The Flat Panel TV stand is great. It really look Great in my living room. The only issue I had with the table was the scratches in the wood. BUSH FURNITURE Bush Furniture Napa Small TV Console, Light Cherry Finish Review

I ordered this TV console for my new Sony 46" LCD TV after first comig across it at [...] via a Google search.

The price on Amazon for the same item was $[...] compared to $405 at the other site. Why was I not surprised?!

Was delivered a whole week ahead of estimate - pleasantly surpirsed. The Package is heavy! Weighed 132lbs.

The assembly was straightforward but time consuming and thankfully no missing bolts, screws etc..

One issue I have with this stand is that the back panel has very small openings for wires to go through and there is *zero* access to your A/V equipment connections through the back. You have to be creative and first make your connections to the back of your equipment before you put them on the shelves, push the wires out from the front through the small back panel openings and then place equipment on the shelves and further pull the wires out from the back to connect to the TV or power outlets. Somewhat tricky! I can imagine some cases where this may not be practical but in my case connections worked out eventually (I have a A/V receiver, CD changer, DVD player and DVR sitting on the 4 shelves inside the glass doors).

Second issue is that the right door hinge slots were slightly off and the door grazes against the bottom frame when it is opened and shut. Minor issue but expected better fit from a $[...] TV stand.

Overall looks elegant in my living room though. Might consider buying the companion audio rack downstream.

Update 5/12/2010:
I have now had this for over 2 years and my basic opinion about form, fit and finish has not changed. I added a media center PC that I home built in early 2008 and the following issue regarding the stand's function started playing up: There is a general lack of ventilation inside the cabinet around the shelves - due to the glass shutters in front and the small openings at the back for the wires to come out. Components tend to overheat and certain A/V components are more susceptible than others. While my DVD player, CD changer and A/V receiver and to a lesser extent DVR do not seem to be impacted, my media PC tends to overheat if the door is closed. (It has a temperature indicator on the front of the PC case as well as a console application that came with the motherboard that runs on Windows that play up the issue with heat and throw advance warnings.)
I suppose this could be a general issue with cabinets of this nature that do not have an 'open' design. However, just thought I'd write this down for the benefit of all and maybe for the manufacturer to consider a redesign of the back panel with larger openings.

Space is no problem with this product let me tell you. These shelves are pretty big bigger then other ones I have seen listed. They are strong and sturdy too so there's no need to worry about them breaking. The wood grain look is nothing less then beautiful its nice to see something different other then glossy black on the time. Assembly was pretty easy as was mounting it to the wall. As of right now its holding an av receiver and a blu ray player. I like this way better over the TV stand that I had before. Nice product holds strong and looks beautiful.

Salamander Synergy 402 A/V Component Cabinet (Black/Silver) Review

I took some time to find a new audio video rack for my small home theater I put together and was looking forward to receiving this rack. When the box arrived it wasn't damaged however when I opened the unit the shelves were placed in the box without any shipping material between the individual shelves. The result was that each shelf was scratched. I know that these will be hidden in the unit under the components but for the money I really wish they invested a few cents for packing material between each shelf. The next issue is that the unit did not arrive with assembly instructions. I had to utilize the instructions from the Salamander web site (PDF) file which did not include how the door attached to the unit (Its obvious though for anyone who has assembled furniture before though). The last issue is that the unit does not come with wheels, which I highly recommend doing (most new AV tuners are 60 pds alone + all the other component weights add up to something that would benefit from wheels). Wheels cost $$$ extra, they are nice but way over priced.

LCD LED Mount Bracket Kitchen Under-cabinet DLP Hdtv Monitor 10-15" IN SILVER Review

The flip u & down is spring-loaded and the TV will stay in place once pushed-up, or hold it's position down once down..that's all fine. Plenty of flexibility with mounting (lots of holes, slots, etc)

The only drawback was the swivel or rotation left to right...there's just one bolt and it doesn't slide properly....it's like the bracket was made to let the TV flip up & down, but not swivel left to right. If you tighten the bolt it won't move very well...and if you keep it loose, the nut comes off: this is definitely not intended to designed well in that aspect. I was able to fix it by using a slightly longer bolt and then taking a piece of rubber inner-tube and cutting the shape of a washer and placing that between the plates. I then used a nylon-reinforced nut so the tension between plates could be set & maintained...so now it swivels right to left and the slight resistance is on account of my rubber washer.

If you are handy and don't mind tinkering...or if you don't need it to swivel, then go fot it...otherwise it's a bit lacking in design & flexibility.
