I have bought many items on "the Zonn" and have been almost always pleased. Rarely do I take the time to write a review. I will be this time. I had originally thought it came with a clear tempered glass with a metal front trim edge on all three shelves. It does not. The shelves are black tempered and do NOT have a metal leading edge. The glass lies on top of a metal support rail. I think it is a very nice, clean/casual look. I have recently built an additon to my house and my nephew is trying to build me a moderate entertainment room out of it. The packaging, which I was VERY concerned about, was EXtremely good. There were no shortcuts involved with more than adequate packaging. The box even came with very durable exterior thick cardboard "support" rails. (shaped like an L) to protect each corner/side. It is a wise but sadly rare thought process by the manufacturer to highly protect the item. Sonax does not want you to bother them with "Hey my stuff arrived broken, what are you going to do about it". We the consumer don't want that either. By far the most gripes I have had with buying anything from anyone has been poor packaging, duh. Not here. It is very sturdily built and has ample room for the new LARGE a/v receiver that is going on the middle shelf. The one and only drawback was where the shelves screw together. There is a dual male/female attachment system on either end of the rail support bar where it attaches to the two plastic side support feet. The small factory hole where the metal support bar "appendage" is to slide into does not/did not fit. I HAD to take a drill bit and ever so slightly enlarge the hole for it to go together. It would not have gone together with out this. I am scoring four out of five due to this. This may keep some people from putting their new unit together the night they got it like I did. I would have been done in like half an hr if not for finding my drill n bit. Not a biggey to me but may be to some. Another slight slight drawback was the black panel piece in back is presswood. Never a fan of that stuff but for 250$ delivered to my front door it was well worth it. Thanks
