This item is sturdy enough for my purpose and looks just fine, but the materials are not good quality. I have bought many pieces like this over the years so I speak from experience. Several of the pieces were cracked or had chipped corners before they ever came out of the box. Fortunately for me, the damaged parts were in the back or on the bottom and couldn't been seen and were not severe enough to cause a structural issue. I wish I had paid closer attention to the other reviews and kept looking. I know that I will avoid this brand in the future!
