Ordered on "Cyber Monday" (through Amazon), shipped out on Friday and arrived on the following Monday.

The box arrived nicely padded by wood and foam on the inside, yet completely ratty looking on the outside. The wood itself is much, much darker than pictured. It almost matches my Cherry desk, yet is not as red. (I tried to upload a picture, but the color was way off after Amazon's compression.)

For assembly, you start with inserting all of the screws and pegs first, so make sure you have enough surface space for all the parts laying scattered about. At one point near completion, the directions have you flip the unit entirely upside-down. Having a helper is recommended.

Instructions proved sufficient and all but two pieces were labeled with stickers. Overall, quite pleased with the unit once assembled.

Sauder Panel TV Stand with Post - Estate Black Review

Looks good, serves it's purpose and wasn't too difficult to assemble. We have the tv mounted on the pole and find it stable and like the fact that we can rotate it a little.

One issue we had is the mounting panel for the tv covers some of the connections for things like the power cord to the tv and where the HDMI cables connect. This may be an issue only for our tv which is a Samsung. You need to check this before you start attaching the mounting back piece. Also, mounting the tv is the most difficult part of the assembly. Make sure you have two strong people to do it.

This is a heavy box to move when delivered, especially if there are going to be stairs. Just something to think about for delivery. It was easy to put together. The instructions are very clear. It would be VERY beneficial to have 2 people to put this together though, there are heavy parts, including large pieces of glass that need to be manipulated into small metal clasps. One slip and it could be ugly!

Overall I am very happy with the product. It certainly is very strong and robust.

TechCraft BAY4632 46-Inch Wide Hi-Boy Flat Panel TV Credenza - Walnut Review

My wife wanted a TV stand that looked like "real furniture" and I needed something strong enough and deep enough to hold my big Pioneer receiver. After much searching we settled on the Techcraft BAY4828. The product is a mix of laminated fiberboard with a few pieces of laminated wood where it's needed such as with the top TV stand part. The door hinges are solid and the glass on the doors is tempered. The one we received is a fair amount darker than the pictures but luckily it still fits nicely in with the room and our other furniture. Overall assembly was easy and took about 2 hours. I've put together quite a few of these "IKEA" like build your own things and this one went together a bit easier than most. One flaw with the instructions was with how the hinges and doors fit in. I spent quite a bit of time looking for some non-existent pieces. Luckily the screw holes for the hinges were clearly marked so I just screwed them in. Everything lined up and it works fine. Overall the instructions were fairly easy to follow.

Update (12/19/2012): After owning this for awhile, it is worth noting that the wood is a little soft, which has left some nicks and scratches here and there. The product is still a good buy, but I wanted to share this in case it deters some buyers.

The assembly was simple, and it looks solid and pretty in black. I was able to fit a Samsung PN51E8000 on it without any hassles. The cable management part consists of cable ties with a sticky pad that you affix in the back of the furniture.

This is a TV mount for minimalists. If you have anything more than a TV, a blu-ray disk player, one center channel speaker, and one receiver, get something that can house it all. This might not do and could become cluttered very easily, thus defeating the minimalist concept.

Another thing I noticed is that it gathers dust very easily and needs to be wiped at least once a week. I suppose a wood-friendly anti-static solution could help here.

The product did exactly as advertised. it had multiple configurations in height, angle, and tilt. I used this in my theater room to mount a projector.

The only downside was that I wanted a few more options for the tilt of the projector. There were only three different holes for screws to set the angle. This was not a huge problem however and I was able to work around it.

Mission Style TV Stand Credenza Review

This credenza is beautiful! It's very sturdy. The finishes and hardware are very nice. The directions to put this together were excellent and very easy to follow. It took about 2 1/2 hours to put together.

A few of the corners were chipped but the representitive at Sauder (the maker of the furniture)was excellent and sent replacements right away at no charge to me.

I would definitely buy this again!
