Bought this for my 50" Panasonic Plasma. Had issue with a wall stud being dead center on my placement of the tv, which meant that I could install a regular mount on 2 studs, then try to offset the hang of the TV as much as possible...which did not look good. This mount spans across 3 studs comfortably (make sure you measure correctly), and once installed, is extremely sold.
The tilt feature not as impressive if you are looking to tilt your tv often. There is not enough room between TV and wall to tighten and loosen the tilt lock. But if you are happy to tilt your tv upon install then leave, I would highly recommend.
