I got these because the wonderful boutique JBL Studio 530's are unusually shaped and fairly heavy monitors that need a solid stand. The curvy Bell'Os fit the bill and in fairness, the JBL's look stunning sitting on them. But these were the most miserable stands to put together and I was moments from returning them. First, the box was a mess inside, the long curved pillars were scratched, the Bell'O logos were coming off and none of the 4 curved base pieces were the same size. Once assembled they weren't anything close to even-level however that was fixed via the adjustable spikes.

I'm happy with them now. They provide an attractive, heavy and stable base for my speakers. But they're lucky they look so good or else I would've sent them back for such shoddy workmenship.
