A little bit of a packaging error occurred with the first shipment - this comes in TWO cartons and one never made it. The seller didn't require we return the partial so we happily ended up with a second adjustable shelf (which is very useful).

It handles a 40 inch flat panel easily. We needed this for the mobility of moving it between meeting rooms. The base is sturdy and well weighted. I never feel like it's going to tip over or cause problems when moving it, even over uneven door threshold, rough floor, or carpet to tile, etc.

It had the best height adjustment we could find in the price range. Not too tough to get together, buy you definitely need two people to get the flat panel mounted. The rest is a one person job for putting the stand itself together. Very good price(s) can be found from some 3rd party vendors for a stand to manage the size range of flat screens it accommodates.

I'd be careful putting much weight on the shelf. It's a toggle lock with plastic ring that goes around the main column of the stand. A polycom, laptop or xBox is fine and the shelf is stable for those items.
