The quality of the metal is really good but the mechanism that allows the t.v. to tilt is non-functional. I hung a 55" Sony LCD using these brackets and it would only tilt all the way forward. I tightened the tilt hardware all the way and still falls forward as soon as I let go. I tightened it even more and stripped the bolts. I had to use zip-ties to hold the t.v. in an upright position for eye-level viewing in my living room. If I need another straight on view or a full tilting view (mounted near ceiling in bedroom), I would buy this product again. Otherwise buyer beware for there is no in-between with this inexpensive bracket (maybe if you have a featherweight t.v. it would hold).
