This was one of the more expensive wall mounts that I was considering, but I'm quite impressed with it's quality and construction. The back plate is a single piece of metal that attaches easily to the wall and offers a solid connection, while still giving you some leeway to ensure level installation. The directions clearly explained the mounting process and I had it out of the box and the TV on the wall in less than 30 minutes.The mount holds the TV securely to the wall with the metal hooks and plastic locking mechanism on the bottom. I think this setup is much better than the screws that some other mounts use to secure the bottom of the TV bracket (which I've found can be difficult to tighten once the TV is actually in place).
The mount can be easily tilted with slight pressure (no tools are necessary) and holds securely once in place. There is plenty of room between the TV and the wall for the mount to tilt sufficiently without pinching cables.
If you're concerned about aesthetics, know that this mount has a great finish on it (with their Salamander logo on the back plate). It's a smooth, matte finish that seems to hold up well to some sliding of the TV bracket on the back plate as I was centering it.
