We have a fire pit with dimensions 41 1/4" x 41 1/4" x 1' and this cover covers it completely and it seems to be very durable. Nothing over-hangs because it has a stretchy opening at the bottom and so it hugs the fire pit very well. We have had it out for about 4 months and it still looks new. Very durable because the corners of the fire pit have not poked holes on it.
