I am using this for my Panasonic Viera TH-58PZ800U 58-Inch 1080p Plasma HDTV. This is a HEAVY TV and the expandable wall mount was a must. You can easily cover 3 studs to distribute the weight. Mine came with a tiltable mount for the TV and a stationary Low Profile Mount. I decided to use the Tilt, but it is nice to know I have a low Profile if I ever change my mind. Even with the Tilt mount, the TV does not stick out from the wall very far at all. This is a very heavy duty mount that I recommend Highly for heavy TVs such as mine (it also gives a lot of head room if you want to upgrade to a larger/heavier TV in the future). Couldn't be happier.
