I bought these to hang the side and rear speakers on my new Onkyo system. My speakers weigh 7.7 pounds each, and I didn't feel comfortable with the cheap plastic mounts.

So far the mounts are great. Would have got 5 stars, but there are two minor problems. The supplied screws to mount into a wall stud are soft and will strip out. You're better off with 2 inch #8 drywall type screws. There are also 2 small screws that are supposed to attach the plate that mounts to the speaker to the mount. The instructions show the screws going in from the back after the speaker is mounted, which makes sense. Trouble is that the screw holes are designed to have the screws go in from the front, which of course is covered by the speaker. They do snap together well enough that I felt the lack of screws was no big deal.
