I was thrown off to see that this mount can be purchased at such a reasonable price. We are conditioned to believe that if something is a bargain then it is most likely more headache then it is worth. I am happy to report that this isn't one of those times! It is an awesome deal for a quality product that has a few tricks up it's sleeve.

I am a stickler for reading instructions on anything new that it is purchased. My husband on the other hand is the opposite. I nagged him and he decided to 'read' the instructions. After perusing them for a moment he let me know that when I reviewed the product that I should make note of the HORRIBLE INSTRUCTIONS. Luckily for me/us, my husband has installed so many of these flat panels on so many different types of walls that we wouldn't have needed those instructions. For others who aren't as 'well-versed' in installing, I believe that you will be able to figure it out because of the product's ease & simplicity.

We have this mount in our bedroom behind a 42-inch Panasonic Plasma commercial model that weighs 68.7 pounds. It is a heavier older model and this mount does well. We choose not to tilt because we always have that fear but rest assured we have tested it and it does perform well. Installation was simple! Mount the hardware to your wall then reach for your television brackets and lift over. That is all! It took us a bit more time trying to figure out exactly where to place the television in front of our bed. With every other mount that we have previously owned we had to pour over it for hours and make sure by measuring, remeasuring & leveling that we would guarantee ourselves a straight picture. I do wish we had purchased a larger size for our living room television.

Bottom line... mount then place television and move until the level tells you that you are straight. That is all. Two person job because you wouldn't want to drop the flat screen as you are trying to lift it on. Highly recommend this tilting mount, especially at this price point. Bravo Phillips!

FYI: Not all walls are created equal! A simple screw will not hold your flat panel like a picture frame. Please do some research if this is your first install. You will need molly bolt wall anchors.
